About the platform
How much does it cost to post a listing?
Free for everyone. You can post as many listings as you want at no cost. The only paid options are promotions (Top 24h, VIP 7 days, etc.) and Pro subscriptions for premium features.
How do I sign up?
Click Sign in at the top right → Create account. You only need email + password. To post listings, then verify your phone via Telegram (30 seconds).
Why must I verify by Telegram?
Phone verification prevents spam and fake accounts. We use Telegram because it's free, fast, and secure. Our bot @banutMD_bot receives your contact, confirms the number — nothing else. No spam, no reading your messages.
Posting listings
How long does it take to publish?
Under 2 minutes. Our AI helps with automatic categorization and price suggestions from similar listings.
Why was my listing rejected?
Our AI checks every listing. Common rejection reasons:
- Illegal content or services
- Obvious scams or “quick money” schemes
- Counterfeit products
- Missing minimum details (title or description too short)
If you think the rejection is wrong, write to contact@banut.md.
How long is a listing active?
60 days. After that, you can reactivate it or post a new one.
Can I edit a listing after publishing?
Yes. Go to My listings and click Edit next to it.
Buying and selling
How do I buy?
bănuț.md is just an intermediation platform. Click Show number or Send message to contact the seller directly. You meet and decide the deal between yourselves.
Is it safe to buy on bănuț.md?
We recommend:
- Meet in a public place with light and people
- Verify the product before paying
- Avoid anonymous money transfers (Western Union etc.)
- Ask for paperwork on expensive items (cars, appliances)
- Look for the “verified phone” badge on the seller
How do I report a suspicious listing?
Email abuse@banut.md with the link and reason. We investigate within 24 hours.
Account & security
How do I change my password?
Password reset feature is in progress. For now, contact us at contact@banut.md.
How do I delete my account?
Email privacy@banut.md with the deletion request. Your data will be fully removed within 30 days (GDPR).
Is my data safe?
Yes. We use encrypted connections, passwords are hashed, phone numbers are protected against scraping. More in the Privacy Policy.
Payments
How do I pay for promotions?
We process payments through LemonSqueezy — a verified partner accepting cards, PayPal and other methods. Safe; we don't store your card data.
Can I refund a payment?
Promotion payments are non-refundable once the promotion has started (see Terms). For exceptions, contact contact@banut.md.
