We're a small team building the online marketplace Moldova deserves. First sprint, June 2024. First listing, December 2024. First 100,000 visits, April 2026. Still early, but with clear plans.

Ruslan Constantinovici

Founder & CEO. Software engineer with 15 years of experience — React Native, Next.js, distributed architecture. Creator of QRChat (encrypted messenger published on the App Store) and the automation platform that runs the bănuț.md AI stack.

Collaborators

We build the product with 3-4 part-time collaborators:

Design & art direction — the "Bazaar" editorial system, Fanwood Italic for headlines, the cream-ink-intent palette.
Content moderation — real people checking listings flagged by AI as "review", during business hours (Mon-Fri, 9:00–18:00 EET).
User support — answers ajutor@banut.md and WhatsApp Business (number on the Contact page).

How we decide

The product is guided by three principles:

Transparency before polish. If something doesn't work, we write about it on the blog and announce it in the Telegram channel. We don't hide.
Zero sales commission. Ever. Our monetization is Pro (optional subscription) plus individual promotions — the actual transaction stays between buyer and seller.
Moldova-native. Written in Romanian, built in Moldova, for the Moldovan market. No cloning of 999.md or OLX — we build what we believe is better, sometimes different, sometimes explicitly copied.
